Frequently asked questions

Do I need to give my name or contact details to see quotes?

No. The quote tool needs your gender, date of birth, health level in general terms, tobacco use, how much coverage, and term length. Just those six things give us carrier rates. Only if you decide to apply do we ask for your name, address, or medical history.

Are the monthly prices shown the price I will pay?

They're what each carrier is quoting for the health level you said you were in. After they underwrite, the carrier picks the real class and sets the real price, which might stay the same, be better, or be different. Nothing here counts as an insurance offer or a rate guarantee.

What happens when I click Apply?

You enter your name, and an application opens with the quote you picked already filled in. From there it goes to the carriers' secure site. You can walk away and come back, and you'll sign electronically. Susman Insurance Agency (License 0B75129), a licensed California firm, manages your application.

Will I need a medical exam?

It varies by carrier, how much you want, and what you tell them. Some can say yes immediately for the right applicants; every quote tells you if the exam is needed, could be needed, or won't be needed.

Is a longer term better?

A term length should span the years when your death would hurt someone financially: a home loan, kids who need you, money owed to a company. Picking more years means higher monthly cost, but the rate won't climb. The quote tool shows you 10, 15, 20, 25, and 30 year options so you can weigh them.

Does this site sell my information?

No. Getting a quote doesn't require us to take your contact info; we don't trade away visitor data or sell it; we use no cookies. The privacy page lists everything we do gather and who sees it.
