Within Antioch itself, Contra Loma Regional Park offers 775 acres with an 80-acre reservoir dedicated to boating, kayaking, sailing, and fishing. The park has a 550-foot pier, picnic facilities, and accessible areas with beach wheelchairs. Black Diamond Mines Regional Preserve, also in Antioch, encompasses nearly 8,533 acres of grassland and foothill woodland with 65 miles of trails, plus camping and the Greathouse Visitor Center, which preserves an underground coal-mining chamber from the 1920s.

Just east of Antioch, Big Break Regional Shoreline sits at the Delta's edge and features a 100-foot fishing pier, kayak launch, and paved trails. The visitor center, recently renovated, includes an interactive map of the entire Delta. North of Antioch, Brannan Island State Recreation Area near Rio Vista serves as a gateway to over 1,000 miles of navigable Delta waterways, with 140 campsites and ten-lane boat launch facilities.

For families who value outdoor time together—camping trips, fishing weekends, kayaking with children—that access is part of what home means. Life insurance planning ensures that those weekends, that outdoor tradition, that pattern of family time can continue if something happens to you. Coverage sized to your income and the years your family depends on it is the practical way to protect that way of life.
